[On any normal day, it would be pretty hard to not hear Yuffie yelling straight into the journals...but today is everybody's lucky day. Today she is on mute...or one might think so until she punches the journal making it obvious that she is the only one on mute!

She doesn't do much after, besides making a good array of angry, and annoyed faces. Eventually she gives up and writes 'I'd rather be deaf'. If anything, she just wrote it for the Malnosso...because yelling doesn't seem to be working at the moment.


Not too much later she can be found in the village, still looking quite annoyed. Her clothes are dirty (and probably having a bad hair day), she looks like she hasn't slept in two weeks, but 5 minutes and she's found some candy. (And that only makes her world a little bit better.) Normally she would go just pass out, but it's hard for even an annoyed Yuffie to not notice the nicer weather. And anything is better than being locked ins ide for two weeks.]

Man, what use could that possibly have? I mean, no offense but...one girl's voice can't have anything to do with getting us home.

[That's true, but she just laughs.

'I yell at them every time I get the chance. Maybe they just wanted me to shut up. They did do a few other things.']

[Because man, Yuffie, you're his first kidnapping victim.]

[She has to think about the best way to answer that, but she'll soon take off her long glove to show him her arm...which is covered in many round bruises.

'They were trying to figure out a few things about using materia.' ...And he knows he doesn't know what that is... 'My world's magic.']

[He gives her a sad, empathetic little look.]

That's not right. But the bruises I can maybe help with, if you want.

[Don't make a face like that! It doesn't look too bad...

'Help how?']

[He holds it out, already preparing an Energy Transfer.]

[Well...it doesn't look like he's gonna hurt her, so she'll hold her arm out.]

[Krillin takes her hand and closes his eyes, beginning to concentrate and offer some of his own ki to help her recover, give her more energy.]

[Yuffie will just be watching. This seems like a different kind of magic.]

[After a moment, Krillin pulls away]

How's that? Feel any better?

[He'll get a confused nod.

'What did you do?']

Oh, I uh...gave you a bit of my energy.

[That's so neat!

'Never heard of that kind of magic.']

It's not magic. It's energy. My life force. But don't worry, I've got enough for a few bruises.

['That's unhealthy!' Or it sounds like it should be...

'I could've gone home and used my magic.']

[He flexes.]

I've got enough juice left to do all sorts of things. It's normal where I'm from.

[Well she can't argue to much about it, if it really is normal for him...

Nope! Nothing magical about it at all. Anyone can learn to manipulate ki. It's just the life force of a person.
