So it's official. You know you're bored out of your mind when you start talking to a book to look for entertainment. It almost makes you sound like a loony person.

So I've been here a week, and...nothing. I have a normal, boring life!! I thought interesting things were supposed to happen here, but all I've done is find a place to live, and listened to a book. I'M GOING CRAZY!

...I guess two things here have me wondering...Can someone here tell me how 7th Heaven was named? There's a bar back home named that, and in a place like this, I'm gonna guess that it's not a coincidence. Was a girl named Tifa here at some point?

Next, I actually found materia! Three of 'em! So now I know Vincent wasn't looking for them. BUT if you see a big tree with a good sized hole going right through it, just thought I should tell you that was my bad. The tree seems okay though...there's still leaves on it...

Now what are you supposed to say when that's all you gotta say on this thing? That's all? The end? Over and out?

[So after Yuffie's ramblings over the journals, it's not hard to spot the ninja running around the village. She's decided to go on her own made up mission. And what kind of mission might that be you ask? Well...there's no organization to it at all, she's just looking for someone fun to talk to, or mess with.

How? Well she's gotten bored enough to tie a materia to some invisible string, and dangle it from a tree she's sorta hiding in. (You won't see her unless you're looking) Now what will you do with this random shiny thing floating in mid-air, hm? It's oh so very tempting.

If that yeilds boring results, later in the day there is a ninja stalking you. You might just be getting some food, taking a walk in the woods, or even in your house. But wherever you are, there just migtht be a ninja watching you, and if you're good enough, you might just spot her. She's curious as to why no one else is going stir crazy like her, and is only watching to see what others do for fun. It's not for any creepy sort of reason, really!]

[Ace was just strolling along through Luceti when the glint from a shiny object caught his attention. Couldn't hurt to take a look, right? He walks on over to it, peering at it curiously.] What is this...?

[Well it's just going to float there...maybe even sway a little, but Yuffie says nothing.]

[... HUH. Weird. Gonna take the risk and reach out for it! He really hopes this isn't some stupid prank.]

[Oh, then he is going to be very disappointed, because as soon as he reaches for it, it flies up, just out of reach~]

[jshbfshjfsd HE KNEW IT. God, he shouldn't have done that. He'll hold his face in his palm for a while and grumble to himself.] I really should've seen that coming... all right. Whoever's up there, you got me with that one.

[And she cannot help herself from laughing. She was expecting more, but that was a pretty good reaction, so she'll poke her head into his view.] You made it easy.

What can I say? I'm a pirate. Shiny things attract me. [This is actually bullshit, shiny things tend to grab the attention of anyone.]

Really? The fact that it looks like it was floating had nothing to do with it? [Yeah, she can call a bluff.]

[Okay, fine, you caught him.] That, too, I guess. So what is it?

[She'll hop down now, catching the materia on her way down.]

It's called materia. It's like my worlds magic!

Yeah, we had a Tifa. A long time ago, though. I'm pretty sure the place was named by her to begin with.

A week and already going crazy with boredom? What are you going to do when you're stuck here for almost three years?

[A pause before he chuckles.]

Poor tree, what did it do to you?

[Yoh answers as calmly and smiley as always though inwardly he's hoping that the tree is indeed fine and not dead.]

Luceti is a pretty pleasant place from time to time, I would enjoy it while it lasts if I were you. If you're bored, there are some things to do around. I have heard there are some classes and clubs going on, those could be fun. Or you could try to talk with the Filial Spirits if you want something more exotic.

[It's evening, not quite night, and Spike is in the woods. Billowing long coat and all that. He has blood on him, in small packs, but it's not immediately obvious. What is obvious is that he's heading to the lake. He has a certain vampire lover to go visit and feed. It's also obvious how he intentionally avoids any light that filters through the trees. He's weaving a path through the darkest parts.

Also, he stops every now and then to look back. He knows when he's being followed. It's just a matter of picking out where the stalker is. And then doing something to discourage further stalking.]

Magic, huh? I know a few worlds have them, but they don't all work the same. How does your materia work?

Hah, I was right.

Do you know how long ago this was?

Three years? I'm probably going to die.

It didn't do anything to me. It was just the perfect target.

I'm too old to go to classes...I could teach, but I haven't really seen that many kids around. And for those spirits? I'm staying away from those for a little while.

[Yuffie has no problems hiding up in the trees when it's starting to get dark. And by his stopping and looking around, he's made it easy to know that he thinks he's being stalked, and he just might even catch a glimpse of the ninja, but she'll be moving too often for someone that's not just trying to see to know where she is.]

...That's a hard thing to explain. Once you have one, you just kinda know.

There have been people here for even longer than that. And you can die if you want, but you'll be back after a week, probably missing something too.

[And he just chuckles again at her remark.]

I guess it was. Where was it? Do you remember the general direction of it at least?

[He wants to go and check it even if he can't do much either way. He laughs at her answer about the classes though.]

Classes aren't about age, they are about how much you know. If you know everything there is to know, then you don't need classes, indeed, but if there is something you don't know you could start learning it here. From what I know the school doesn't have many kids, but it has several students of many ages. Some people are even interested in learning about other worlds despite being complete adults, for example.

I meant figuratively! This place just has nothing fun to do.

[You can feel the glare through the book.]

And what is so funny about that?

North edge of the village...it's sorta hidden.

I know a lot, and math? Not that fun or helpful for what I do. I did hear about some fighting classes, but none with my kind of fighting style, and it's easier to teach kids than adults that kind of thing.

And I meant literally. Give it enough time, you'll come to seriously consider the idea of dying, if only to get a week off here.

[He feels the glare, or imagines it at least. He doesn't care.]

Nothing is funny. It's a pretty good way to end a transmission. No one had thought of it, though, you get points for originality.
