[Yuffie has been only somewhat quiet over the journals. She hasn't really spoken up since that last experiment, and that's not usually her style. Now today, Yuffie wanted to have a little fun. She even found this interesting cloak to run around in today, especially since it is getting colder, and her clothes were not meant for anything but Spring and Summer. So today, instead of her shorts, she's in some nice loose pants, not something a ninja should wear, but unless someone looks really closely, she can easily pass for a boy this day.

What has she got in store? Well, not much. She's going people stalking. Following anyone from a safe distance (Out of range of any normal weapon.) And once she is noticed, she's not saying a word. She will happily stand there and watch what the person does through the slit in the hat of her cloak. She's quite curious about what people will do, especially since she possibly doesn't seem to threatening.


After getting bored of people stalking she will be found with the hood down, and sitting by the fountain in the village.]

I've been wondering. People have been asking for some training, an sparring...I was wondering if I could call out some of the ninja's. Yeah, I know. Shush, you're a ninja. Feel free to put up a filter, or hide your face, but I need a good fight. I feel like I'm not doing anything to stay in shape.

OH! One more thing. The little ninja kid I found....Nagato? I'm curious  what you look like normally!

"It's not about thinking but about mixing your energies. It takes a lot of practice and that's part of why it tends to take a long time to learn to do well." He shook his head slightly. "Can you walk up walls?"

[materiathief]

That does sound a bit hard to learn.. "Sorta. I can run up walls, and stay in one place for a minute or so."

[teachingpeace]

He brightened at the words. "Really. Can you run up and stop for me so I can see exactly what you're doing?"

[materiathief]

"No problem!" Showing off is what she does best! She'll pick out the closest, tallest building, and run straight at it. Once she's half way up, she'll stop, and spin around so she's facing the ground, only her shoes holding her up.

It's easy to say she's concentrating. Not on just staying up, but how to get down without doing a faceplant. And once she starts slipping, she jumps right off, flipping a few times just because she can.

He looked thoughtful at that. "Do it again. And try to walk back down."

[materiathief]

"Alright." She'll run right back up, spinning around more quickly then last time, and not even bothering to stay. She'll take two or three steps before just sliding down the rest of the way.

"...That's hard!"

[teachingpeace]

"At first." He moved over to her and casually walked up the wall to stand on it, peering down to her. "But it gets easier."

[materiathief]

Don't mind her staring at his feet. She should've guessed he could do it, but it's an odd sight. "You make it look to easy."

[teachingpeace]

"I've been doing this for over twenty years." He tilted his head, smiling. "That makes a difference."

[materiathief]

Yeah, that does make a difference, but she can't help but pout a little. "It's weird to have a teacher though."

[teachingpeace]

"It's weird to be a teacher. I've never tried to teach anyone anything before." He shook his head slightly. "I think you can learn some things I can actually teach you... do you wish to?"

[materiathief]

"Of course! Learning new things is what makes this place fun!" And she's always liked to learn new cool ninja things.

[teachingpeace]

"I guess that means I'm a sensei then. So, how old is the student I'm working with?"

[materiathief]

"Eighteen! Don't know if I get to ask, but how old are you?"

[teachingpeace]

"Thirty six. My birthday was last month." It was a murmur, just a little wry. He was exactly twice her age.

Not that he looked any older than her.

[materiathief]

That makes her stare. "You don't look much older than me..."

[teachingpeace]

He inclined his head slightly. "Before my health went into decline, I never showed my age."

[materiathief]

"Well that's really lucky." Every year she looks a little bit older...maybe because she's still a teenager, but stil.

[teachingpeace]

"I'm sure that I'll show my age sooner or later. It just means I age... gracefully." He shook his head and smiled at her. "It's not impossible you will either, I thought you younger than you are."

[materiathief]

"That's probably because I don't act my age." Because that's usually why people think she's younger, unless she's actually doing a job.

[teachingpeace]

He considered that for a moment, then slowly shook his head. "No...I'm just used to age weighing more heavily on people."

[materiathief]

"...Huh?"

[teachingpeace]

"You don't seem like the years are pressing down on you." It was a murmur, and he shook his head slightly.

[materiathief]

"Maybe I'm too busy back home for something like that to happen."

[teachingpeace]

He blinked, then laughed, starting down the wall. "It's usually being busy that causes it."
