[Yuffie has been only somewhat quiet over the journals. She hasn't really spoken up since that last experiment, and that's not usually her style. Now today, Yuffie wanted to have a little fun. She even found this interesting cloak to run around in today, especially since it is getting colder, and her clothes were not meant for anything but Spring and Summer. So today, instead of her shorts, she's in some nice loose pants, not something a ninja should wear, but unless someone looks really closely, she can easily pass for a boy this day.

What has she got in store? Well, not much. She's going people stalking. Following anyone from a safe distance (Out of range of any normal weapon.) And once she is noticed, she's not saying a word. She will happily stand there and watch what the person does through the slit in the hat of her cloak. She's quite curious about what people will do, especially since she possibly doesn't seem to threatening.

After getting bored of people stalking she will be found with the hood down, and sitting by the fountain in the village.]

I've been wondering. People have been asking for some training, an sparring...I was wondering if I could call out some of the ninja's. Yeah, I know. Shush, you're a ninja. Feel free to put up a filter, or hide your face, but I need a good fight. I feel like I'm not doing anything to stay in shape.

OH! One more thing. The little ninja kid I found....Nagato? I'm curious what you look like normally!

[Ow! She get's hit by lightning sometimes, but that doesn't make the feeling any better.

Though she still has one hand on the ground, which she uses to get back on her feet, and quickly go in for a spin kick. A kick that also has ice attached. If it should hit, it'll freeze where it hits, but if not ice will still form. Frosting anything near it, and leaving a nice ice rainbow behind.]

[Saori intercepts the kick, this time with her open palm, a sudden gust of wind rushing out of the heel of her hand. It's for cushioning the counter and adding force to it to knock Yuffie over without the bonebreaking force her punches would normally have. The ice leaves a nasty, tingling feeling on the tips of her fingers, which hurts and forces her not to press the attack beyond a quick step-kick at Yuffie's hand on the ground.

Ice isn't anathema to her, but it is really, really unpleasant.]

[Well that wasn't what she expected to happen, but it looks like ice is something good to use.

If she's going to step on her hand, Yuffie might as well catch it. A bit uncomfortable, but it makes it easy for her to hit two pressure points with her free hand. It should at least make it very uncomfortable to have that foot.]

[The pressure points do, in fact, hurt. Saori yelps in pain, but again as she's struck there's another electrical discharge. Yuffie's fingers are completing a circuit, after all.

Even having to stand on one leg while she's recovering, though, she's able to strike. Her palms clap together and a sudden gale crops up, throwing both Saori and Yuffie back with a burst of air-pressure.]

[Being blown back is just fine by her, as she needs the get the tingling in her hands to stop.

But it's more important to get back over while Saori is on one foot, so she get's right back up and rushing back over. And since she's not trained for punching, she's going for an elbow strike.]

[The elbow strike is something Saori doesn't need two legs to block. Not that she really plans to block at all. She turns and accepts the blow on the rounded muscle of her arm, letting the curve deflect most of the force. Sure, it'll bruise tomorrow, and probably badly...but by giving up a bit of flesh she can strike at bone.

Her other hand whips forward at Yuffie's stomach with the speed of a lightning bolt, more aiming to knock the wind out of her while she's exposed than actually do much damage. Of course, the wind accompanies the strike, a semi-solid boxing glove of air to protect her friend from too much force.]

[Nothing about that went right, and not only the lightning bolt knocked the wind out of her, but so did landing on her wings.

Give her a moment if you want. She still looks ready to move!]

[Well, letting her use magic was probably a mistake, Yuffie. She's not...exactly...normal, and she's trying not to injure you too badly.

She uses the time to force her Anima energy down into her foot, getting it back in proper order.]

[Probably. Yuffie's learning how much she dislikes lightning. But she gets back up anyway.

Your turn.]

[Her turn...well..okay. Saori doesn't like taking the offensive, but for Yuffie she'll make an exception.

She starts with a quick shuffle forward, closing the distance at a leisurely pace, but when she's about to be in arms reach, she stops and flicks her fingers, throwing up a curtain of summer fog to obscure her movements.

And she starts with a simple poke. Literally just trying to jab Yuffie's arm with a finger from the cover of the fog, testing...]

[Well that leaves Yuffie pretty much exposed. So her frist idea is to duck down.

...Which makes that poke hit her right in the forehead.

[It's just that. A poke. But it also feels her out a bit. Saori drops and performs a sweeping kick in that general area.]

[That kick should only just touch the bottom of her feet. Because if going down doesn't work, jumping as high up as she can should work a little better!]

[Well the jump is good. Saori stays low in the fog, but calls up a gust of wind to blow Yuffie again, and since she's airborne...probably has less control...]

[Less control is right! There's a flailing ninja up in the air now!]

[And Saori steps back out of the fog, laughing slightly.]

Are you ready to stop, dear? Letting me use magic is not the fairest.

Yes! Just don't drop me on my head.

[But you can't say she didn't put up a decently good fight.

[She did. Saori smiles and lowers Yuffie back down to the roof.]

Why would I do that? That's not fun or fair.
