So it's official. You know you're bored out of your mind when you start talking to a book to look for entertainment. It almost makes you sound like a loony person.
So I've been here a week, and...nothing. I have a normal, boring life!! I thought interesting things were supposed to happen here, but all I've done is find a place to live, and listened to a book. I'M GOING CRAZY!
...I guess two things here have me wondering...Can someone here tell me how 7th Heaven was named? There's a bar back home named that, and in a place like this, I'm gonna guess that it's not a coincidence. Was a girl named Tifa here at some point?
Next, I actually found materia! Three of 'em! So now I know Vincent wasn't looking for them. BUT if you see a big tree with a good sized hole going right through it, just thought I should tell you that was my bad. The tree seems okay though...there's still leaves on it...
Now what are you supposed to say when that's all you gotta say on this thing? That's all? The end? Over and out?
I like over and out! Let's go with that!
[So after Yuffie's ramblings over the journals, it's not hard to spot the ninja running around the village. She's decided to go on her own made up mission. And what kind of mission might that be you ask? Well...there's no organization to it at all, she's just looking for someone fun to talk to, or mess with.
How? Well she's gotten bored enough to tie a materia to some invisible string, and dangle it from a tree she's sorta hiding in. (You won't see her unless you're looking) Now what will you do with this random shiny thing floating in mid-air, hm? It's oh so very tempting.
If that yeilds boring results, later in the day there is a ninja stalking you. You might just be getting some food, taking a walk in the woods, or even in your house. But wherever you are, there just migtht be a ninja watching you, and if you're good enough, you might just spot her. She's curious as to why no one else is going stir crazy like her, and is only watching to see what others do for fun. It's not for any creepy sort of reason, really!]

[Action] Yes, Street Fighter moves!
[Action] Hellz yeah!
[Action]
Saori rolls to the ground a few feet away, catching herself on her heels and pivoting into an almost drunken looking charge, swaying from side to side. When she closes the distance a hand swings out in a heavy-handed slap, the force behind it enough to send the girl flying...]
[Action]
That's enough to make Yuffie go flying, pretty stunned. She has just enough sense in her to land on her feet, sliding along the ground for a few more feet.]
Ow! [What else can one say to getting slapped?
[Action]
[She drops out of the drunken, swaying stance and runs over, alarmed. It wasn't meant to hit that hard...but it was a pretty basic move in the form she'd used.]
I'm sorry! Are you alright?!
[Action]
She'll be sorry about that trick later.]
Yep, but that'll leave a mark!
[Action]
No, it won't leave a mark on you. [She runs her hand along the ninja girls arm, infusing her with a bit of energy. Not healing, just energy]
I didn't mean for it to hit that hard.
[Action]
It's fine. I've just never been slapped that hard before, but marks are fine. They're proof of a good fight.
[Action]
[Saori sits down on her haunches, studying the girl]
That was exhilarating though. I certainly feel better. How about you?
[Action]
[Yuffie just gives a curious look. She looks just fine. Though a bruise is hardly starting to become visible on her stomach and forarms. Her face shows no pain though. She's just pretty pleased!]
That was fun! A great way to spend some energy! Thanks.
[Action]
[An odd question but...important to that style]
I'm glad. I have had precious few people here willing to even attempt such a thing with me.
[Action]
[There's no real age limit in her world, but...there's just never been a reason.]
Well I can guess why, but fighting such a strong person is great, and a rush.
[Action]
[She giggles]
Its the same for me. Challenges are fun. When you have to hold back too much, its not fun. I didn't have to hold back everything with you, and that made it even more special.
[Action]
I have to admit, I didn't think you were that strong, but that made for a good fight, and more fun. And at least I know Vincent won't ask to many questions about the bruises. [Which she almost laughs at. She hasn't gotten bruised up in quite a while.]
[Action]
And why would you think I wasn't very strong, Yuffie?
[Action]
Well, not to be mean, but you look like one of those nice pretty girls that just never learned to fight.
[Action]
I had time to learn art and music too, but I've learned many, many ways to fight, with my fists and weapons too. And magic, but...that doesn't really count.
[Action]
Fighting was the only thing I really taught myself, so that's why I don't fight like a normal person.
[Action]
[She smiles warmly, encouragingly]
And you did a good job learning to fight. You're a formidable human, and you're only going to get stronger. Especially if I teach you new things.
[Action]
Well I'm always looking for new ways to get stronger, and being taught by a god is a great way. Just wish I could teach you some things, to make it even.
[Action]
[She laughs mysteriously]
And I'm sure there are tricks you know that I don't know. And I've never seen a weapon like yours. That's something.
[Action]
...Really? It's a pretty common weapon for ninjas...though most of them are a lot smaller.
[Action] I have no icon for this, so bear with me...
[Saori's form contorts, and her body changes into something entirely different. A towering humanoid shape, nearly reaching ten feet in height looks down at the ninja girl. The figure is clothed in clouds, with oddly elongated arms and legs giving it a truly alien appearance. Eyes made of blue-white lightning peer out of a noseless face, meeting Yuffie's gaze proudly.
When she speaks, her tone is whispering thunder, a deep baritone.]
Well, I know what a shuriken is, but a big one? Thats new to me.
[Action] I have a good imagination!
[That's on the pretty new side of strange, but not scary. Her looks says that it's kinda cool.
But there's no response.]
[Action] I know! Its just...hard to describe alien stuff like that...
I told you it was strange.
[Action] Understandable

[Action] Y'know, I keep meaning to ask if you have Plurk or AIM or something...
[Action] Only AIM which is forensicsandscience
[Action] My AIM is Tuldawen, I'll poke you sometime. These threads are funny!
[Action] Alright. I'm invisible most of the time, but I'm still there
